Hi All -
SJ will be apppearing at the now-legendary Purple Sessions in the Punt Bar, Fair St, Drogheda, on Friday May 30th.
I’m very proud to announce that I will be headlining the Thursday night of this year’s Drogheda Arts Festival.
It’s the festival’s fifth year and it has been very successful so far. In the first year I opened for Damien Dempsey. In the second year I opened for Gerry Fish and The Mudbug Club. This year I have my own show, and I’m absolutely delighted. Check it out at http://droghedaartsfestival.ie
Other acts appearing over the years have included Michael Nyman, Cathy Davey, Terry Riley, Steve Cooney, etc etc etc. It’s become a very prestigious festival.
My show is at 8pm on Thursday April 30th in the Droichead Arts Centre, a lovely theatre. Support on the night is from Niall Boyle. Check out www.myspace.com/niallboylemusic
Delighted to say that SJ will be opening the Dublin and Belfast dates on Simon Fagan’s Irish tour this March and April. You can find out about Simon on www.myspace.com/simonfagan
The dates are:
March 22 (Sunday) - Auntie Annie’s, Belfast
April 8 (Wednesday) - Sugar Club, Dublin
Thanks Simon!
Please note that SJ will NOT now be doing the Cork show. Sorry about the mix-up.
